Hunter Strickland

Hunter Strickland, Co-Owner & Project Manager

Hunter is the 4th generation Strickland to carry the family legacy of construction and the landscape industry. Hunter was working on a backhoe with his "Poppy" from the time he was 6 months old. With his wealth of hands-on knowledge and a degree in Construction Management, Hunter is a leader, with big goals of taking this legacy nationwide. Hunter believes in keeping America beautiful, one yard at a time, with honesty and integrity.

A note from Hunter:

"Having a family history distinguished in hard work, specifically in construction, this is an industry that I love with all of my heart. Working with my mother everyday and knowing that I am the Fourth Generation in a row to be involved in our work fills me with pride every time I'm in the field. Our number one goal at Swamp Fox is always customer satisfaction. We want your project to be better than you could have imagined. Solving issues and creating unique features to your homes and businesses is what we enjoy the most. To quote our namesake, Francis Marion, 'Promises that you make to yourself are often like the Japanese Plum Tree --- They bear no fruit.' So we make promises not to ourselves that customer satisfaction is Swamp Fox's first priority, but by guaranteeing that to you."

Cynthia Strickland

Cynthia Strickland, Co-Owner & Lead Designer

Cynthia is originally from North Carolina, she proudly carries the Strickland name of her grandfather and father that paved the way in Nags Head and in Wilmington. Cynthia grew up on construction sites, working right along side of her father, of whom she often referred to as Picaso on a dozer. Naturally gifted, and years of training in the area of design she has dedicated her time to leave her special mark in landscape and holiday fields. Cynthia is a published designer that puts her heart and soul into every customers dream. Cynthia will be heading up the new opening of Kringle & CO in Houston, Texas, summer of 2025.

A note from Cynthia

"First I want to thank God and our many customers that have and continue to support us through the years. It is truly humbling from my perspective, to not only have been blessed with an amazing customer base, but to have been born into such an amazing and hard working family. I carry the name Swamp Fox Construction & Landscape with honor. My favorite days are when my son and I are onsite working side by side. It's amazing to wake up everyday and be able to do what you love. Design is my passion, and knowing I am bringing smiles to faces by the talent God gave me is quite simply a remarkable feeling. As always, customer satisfaction is our top priority, for without you, we would not have a legacy to carry."
